He was elected as the deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic. Adolf Adolfovich became a specialist of agriculture and animal farming, beyond that he was somewhat of a hero of the socialist movement and honoured for his work in Agriculture. Adolf always looked to the future and implemented the latest technology he could get his hands on, this allowed for quicker work and in turn better results.
To put into perspective what he was doing, this was not just any small farm. The collective farm was eight thousand hectares; it fed five thousand head of cattle, three thousand five hundred pigs, and boasted a small horse farm. It specialised in growing pigs for meat production. On average the farm produced 300 litres of milk per cow per year. Over and beyond its animal requirements the farm, had a leather tannery, and a canning factory.
Throughout his work, he received many rewards for his work including the "Order of the Red Banner of Labor in 1971. He received twice the Order of Lenin in 1973 and 1988. He also was honoured with the "Order of Friendship of Peoples." In 1981, he received the title of "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the BSSR."
A very uncommon name for Byelorus especially so soon after World War II, nonetheless Adolf Adolfovich went on to become a great man. He now is living out his retirement, after his many years of hard work.
